A Guide to Daily Care of Dogs

I was never a pet person. In fact, I would cringe when I would see people hugging and kissing their pets. Despite everyone knowing I did not like pets, my brother gave me a puppy for my birthday. I had no clue about how to take care of it. I even thought about giving him away. Before I realized it though, he had grown on me. I found myself telling people that he was not the average dog, but a super dog instead. So, I decided to create a blog for non-dog lovers like me who find themselves owning and loving a dog.

Why Ball Pythons Make Good Pets

When it comes to pets, most people generally only consider either cats or dogs, and maybe sometimes fish, for their home. While this makes sense given how popular these animals have been historical, these aren't the only options that you have to pick from. In fact, these aren't even the best options for many Americans, especially those who are going to get their first-ever pet. Here are a few reasons why you should actually consider browsing the many ball pythons for sale in your area.

Cheap To Buy And Care For

You can find healthy ball pythons for as little as $30, but the great thing is that you can spend more on rarer, more interestingly patterned ball pythons if you wish. The main cost of buying a ball python is setting up its terrarium, but even still, you are likely spending only a fraction of what it costs to buy many types of dogs and cats that can easily run you over a thousand bucks on the low end. Dogs and cats also require much more frequent trips to the vet, while snakes such as the ball python rarely have health conditions that warrant medical check-ups.

Great For Confined Living

Millions of Americans live in small apartments and houses in major cities, and those that do might feel as though they have no option when it comes to pets. That could not be further from the truth, as you can easily fit a ball python enclosure into even the smallest of apartments. They are about the same size as a fish tank and these animals are so much more interesting and have much more of a personality that you can enjoy when compared to fish.

Great Conversation Starter

It is still considered quite unusual to own a snake, but societal attitudes are changing, and now it is quite an interesting talking point that is great for showing friends and new guests to your home. While everyone loves dogs and cats, most people are going to be far more intrigued by a snake as they are far rarer. Even something as common as ball pythons are not something you see every day, especially if you get something a little more unique like an albino one. If you love hosting and want a pet that won't stop this from happening and will be a great conversation starter, then it is hard to look past the many ball pythons for sale.
